Hello! It's me! (To quote a song lol)....

Morning all... I just wanted to pop in and say 'HI'.... I am still around, but sadly those curve balls have not let up and have eventually worn me down and hit my health, so crafting is on the back-burner at the moment...
Anyway that's enough doom and gloom, I hope you are all well and in a good place, for those who aren't, I really hope and wish your fortune changes soon and that you can escape, if just for a while into the world of "craftinessnesss" (an invention of own lol).... I do have a few creations that I haven't shared with  you yet, so I will really try and do that soon....

A Snowman's Hug

Happy Saturday all..... Sadly, it's a rainy dreary day here on the south coast today... so a day of Christmas card making, me thinks... So hopefully this little gem of an image will warm your hearts on this November day..

 The image is another from Cheryl Grant and is called "Snow Much Love"  which I colored with ProMarkers. I kept the layout relatively simple to compliment the image....

A Snowflake Wonderland

Hello!!! Ohhhhh my goodness, I really didn't realise how long it has been since I last posted... To my loyal few, thank you, the curve balls keep coming but hey hum lol.... So my crafting has sadly taken a back seat.... However! I'm back today with a card I made a little while ago, but never posted and as my close friend Polly has been stuggling to get over a flu like cold, I'm hoping this will bring a smile to her face, as this card is all things Polly, over the top (for me) covered in glitter and snowflakes, not my normal style, but I'm quite pleased with the end result...

This cute image is a Bestie from Sherri Baldy and you can purchase her here. I used Promarkers for the image and for the background. I cut out a snowflake border and more snow flakes in kraft card and drizzled frantage and glitter glue over them... Using another large snowflake as a background, I die cut a poinsettia in pink pearl card and added pearl drops....

Bride to Be

Good morning my lovelies.... It's so great you're here..... So this is the last week of my holiday, it has just whizzed by.... I haven't achieved even half of what I wanted to achieve .... Hey hum lol, nothing new there then...

So today I'm sharing a card I made using a gorgeous digi stamp by Sherri Baldy called "The Bride"....

I coloured her with Pro markers, and used ink around the edge of the oval. I used a light grey and dark grey shimmer card as matts to compliment the subtle glitter in the the papers I used.... I was actually quite pleased with her lol....

To Have and To Hold

Hi all....I know, I know... Two blog posts in so many days lol...I'm on a roll what can I say...If you pop by regularly, (and if not, welcome). I have hinted that life is throwing me a few curve balls at the moment and thus my craft time and mojo have both taken off on their holidays and have become very absent.... So as these curve balls are here for a while, I have decided to take the pressure off myself and step down from Creative Craft Cottage..... It has been a short journey but an enjoyable one, but I need to focus on myself and my family... 

So this will be my last project for Creative Card Cottage... We are sponsored this time by

Good morning all...I really hope all is well in your world....

So today I want to share with you this adorable little cutie from Sassy Cheryl Stamps ... She is from a three digi set called "Avery's Summer Afternoon Collection" The papers were from my stash and I matted them on to squares of black card and then onto a piece of pink card... I coloured her with Pro-Markers and die-cut a tag and stamped it with a sentiment from LOTV..... I finished off with some pearls....

Gone Fishing

Hi again!!!.... So while trying to get back to some normality, I have found this card which I should have (and in that foggy brain of mine, I thought I had) posted last week for the Creative Craft Cottage latest challenge..... This challenge, "Anything Goes" is still running and is also sponsored by 

I was given this image to use, which I believe is called "Gone Fishin" but sadly she seems to be unavailable in the shop at the moment, so I have no link it for you...

I made an easel card and found some papers in my stash which seemed to fit the bill. I inked around the edges of the paper which I had distressed with a distressing tool, matted it onto kraft card,adding a few pearls and some twine.... I coloured the image with Promarkers/Flexmarkers....

Wow..... Good Morning and I am sooo sorry it's been so long..... Life has been a little harsh lately and I've badly neglected you and my blog.... So now as things are slowly coming together, lets change that and do some catching up..... My first share today, (yep! we're going from one extreme to another lol), is for the new challenge over at "Digi Galore". This months theme is "Anything But A Card" sponsored by 

and my take on the theme was a Desktop Calendar.... My mojo is struggling at the moment, so I kept the design quite simple, but summery as the stamp I used called "Sunday Afternoon" seemed to take me in that direction.... Hi.... So today see's a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.... The theme is "Layer It Up" and our sponsor this fortnight is

I used "Sweet Bear". Vintage seemed to be the feel I was getting so along that way it went....Although I stuck with one backing paper, (not my original intention), I did do lots of matting and layering with the backing paper and the image, even the ribbon

For the inside I used the matching paper and Kraft card that I had used on the front of the card. I used quite a few mixed flowers and a simple stamped sentiment....

Vintage Santa

Good morning, good morning.. Huge apologies for my lack of posts but there has been lots going on on the craft room and I am hopeful that this week will be a better week than the last few as they have relentless with bad luck....

So..... Let's start with some happy news... A lovely lady called Anet recently left a comment on my blog asking me if I would be interested in joining a new DT Team... How lovely.... Although I have made a decision to cut back on my DT's,  having visited the Challenge site I decided it would be a lovely place to play and hopefully you will join in too...

So without further ado I am extremely proud to tell you that I am now a DT Member for "Creative Craft Cottage"... We are a fortnightly challenge, falling on the 7th and 21st of each month...

Coffee with Riff

Good morning lovely people.... So a few weeks ago, I blogged a card I made for my friend Julie, and as I explained at the time there is also Annie and they are affectionately known by me as Riff and Raff and last weekend it was her birthday...  

Annie's card was going to have to be classy and pretty, as a self proclaimed princess, whiches were not going to cut the mustard for Annie... So to the ever faithful LOTV box of stamps I went and as when ever the two of us meet up for coffee it turns in to a three hour session lol, I thought this stamp called "Coffee Break" would be perfect...She loves the garden and the out-doors, so I tried to give it a bright summery feel, in her favourite colours, topped with lots of flowers...

Good afternoon all...I'm afraid it's gonna be a quicker than normal post from me today.... (This may please some of you lol...) I've been knocked down by a spiteful virus, that has been with me for nearly two weeks, so awake is the M.E and bed rest it is....and I hate bed rest, my body may fail me but my brain wants to continue, all be it with considerable bouts of brain fog....

My friend the Witch!!!

Hi all.... So a few weekends ago, I had a lovely week doing things I love for some lovely people, oh and my friend Julie's birthday  lol... (just joking).... 

So I have two friends from work, Julie and Annie, affectionately known as "riff and raff" and you may have surmised that the banter between the three of us flows freely and makes the days "such fun"....  So the other week was Julie's Birthday and like most friends there are standard jokes between us, which I won't bore you with, but suffice to say Julie's usually involve the words "Witch" and "Broomstick".... So when I saw this fantastic digi stamp called "Call Me A Witch" from Bugaboo it was perfect.... It seemed to go down well too, when she opened it...phew...!!

So I made a frame from grey shimmer card and used the same card as a mat, for the paper which were from the "gorjuss" range...

I downloaded another little broom digi for the inside, also from bugaboo stamps and after die-cutting it I inked it with "Pumice Stone"

It's difficult to pick up, in the picture but I used a "wink of stella" on the buckle and the top of the stick...
