Wizard Boy....

Good afternoon.. And what another beautiful day it is here on the glorious south coast....

So, following my current love for making boys cards, I have dug out one of my old favourites, "Abracadabra", which is of course from LOTV....Sadly, I believe it has been recently discontinued but he's so much fun to use and colour....

On this occasion I chose the stars backing paper, which in turn defined my colour scheme... Having mounted the paper on blue card, I lightly inked the edges to soften the white... Having coloured the image with promarkers, I die-cut the stamp , again inked the edges and created a frame in red card to surround the image.... The stars are die-cut and layered in contrasting coloured paper.... I created the sentiment on the pc and printed it onto kraft paper....

For the inside, I used contrasting, card with the same paper and lightly inked a blank die cut...

Promarkers
Black
Ice Grey 5, 3, 1
Powder Blue, Pastel Blue
Burgundy, Poppy, Berry Red
Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush
Cinnamon, Caramel, Ivory
Satin, Sandstone
Warm Grey 3 & 1
Wink of Stella - Gold

Papers - Forever Friends Christmas Kraft
Go Kreate Dies

I AM the Easter Bunny!!!

Good morning lovely people... I hope you are having a lovely Easter weekend, whatever you are doing...
So I have a confession to make! I have only just discovered the amazing Sassy Cheryl's Stamps, and if you are shouting WHAT!!!!! at your device right now, I'm sorry, but no one told me lol... And to those few of you who are saying WHO? Ohhh you should visit straight away lol... However!! not with an empty purse....

So my first post using one of my purchases, comes as a set of three digi stamps entitled "Easter Bunny Pretend" ...I have chosen this one to use first, I just love the attitude, it puts a smile on my face every time...

I used papers from the "Fun Fair" range from Heltz and a Blue scrap from my stash. I then layered it on to Blue card and then on to Kraft Card. Having coloured the image with Pro-markers and edged it with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I layered it on to both types of card too. I used a button, pearls and twine from my stash. I used a blank LOTV Tag, to stamp around a PC created sentiment..

Pro-markers
Fire wood, Khaki, Pastel Beige
Capri Blue, Powder Blue, Pastel Blue
Almond, Pale Pink,
Warm Grey 1 and 3

Five More Minutes?!?

Good Morning lovely people....Firstly an update on TTPH..... After lots of rallying behind the scenes TTPH WILL stay open but now will become a monthly blog... Starting on the first of each month. Anita has stepped down and Fiona and the admin team have taken it over....So here's to new beginnings!!!

So today Id like to share a card I made a few weeks back..... Unfortunately the colours don't show up in the picture as well as they do on the actual card..... The image and sentiment are from Polkadoodles Work and Play CD 2 you can also now buy the image called "Gamer"  separately...

After colouring him with Promarkers, I fuzzy cut him out and mounted him with 3D pads onto a die-cut oval.... All the papers and buttons were from Papermania Capsule Collection (Spots and Stripes Festive).  For matting, I used chocolate brown card stock and punched a border with the Martha Stewart Bubble Bath around the page punch.... To finish off, I used some twine and ribbon from my stash....

For the inside, I die-cut an oval center piece with a chocolate frame and inked it with Tim Holtz "Pumice Stone"
